If you've seen the Sex & The City movie, you might recognize this book. It's the love letters featured in Big/Carrie's reuniting. The funny thing is, this book didn't actually exist until AFTER the movie when there was a high demand for it! I thought that was cool. I've yet to start reading it, but I'm totally excited. If I can't get love letters written to ME, I'll live vicariously through other couples in the past with eloquent words and prose that'll make you cry.

I went up to Baltimore tonight for Rissa's birthday dinner. I'm flattered I was invited since it was a small group, and I'm so glad I was able to go! The bonus of the night was getting to see Matty, which was like a MIRACLE because it'd been over a year (maybe even two) since I'd seen him last. This is the three of us, and I can't express how happy I am that we're still friends. These guys? They're good people. <3

I have this big black book that I use for journaling (a term I use loosely in this context) -- which mostly means making lists of things I need to do, keep track of my finances, jotting down book ideas and other fiction writing, and keeping tabs on my emotions. It's extremely useful and it's nice to be able to look back on specific dates and see how things have progressed (or what I need to work harder on). Plus, my handwriting is supercute.
